Your roof is a power plant.
Cut your electricity bill by up to 90%, keep the lights on through power cuts, and earn credit for every unit you send back to the grid. Designed, installed and looked after by Tejilo.
Everything included, nothing outsourced
- Tier-1 panels
- LiFePO₄ batteries
- Net-metering paperwork
- 25-year warranty
Checking the sky over Kathmandu…
We pull live solar radiation for the valley every few minutes, so you can see what a Tejilo rooftop would be producing right now.
Weather data: Open-Meteo. Production is an estimate.
Nepal has 300 sunny days a year. Use them.
Electricity prices keep climbing and power cuts still happen. Solar fixes both, and pays for itself in five to seven years.
Smaller bills
Most homes cut their monthly NEA bill to the minimum charge in sunny months.

Made for flat RCC roofs
Raised steel frames keep your roof usable for drying clothes, water tanks and morning tea.
Lights stay on in a power cut
Add a battery and your home switches over in 10 milliseconds. The Wi-Fi doesn’t even blink.
Sell your extra units
With net metering, every unit your roof sends to the grid is credited against your bill. We handle the paperwork.
Easy EMI
Solar loans over 3 to 7 years. Often the monthly EMI is less than what you save.

Rooftops we’ve switched on.
They stopped dreading the bill.
“Our bill used to be six thousand in winter. Last month it was four hundred and ten rupees. And during the outage in Shrawan, the fridge never stopped.”
“The Tejilo team designed around our kitchen hours and laundry load. The app shows exactly what we produce every day. It’s our best investment since the renovation.”
“Exams, computer labs and the borewell pump all run on the roof now. The students track the panels’ output as a science project.”

Solar, explained simply.
Will solar work during the monsoon?
Yes, at a lower level. Panels still produce on cloudy days, typically 60–80% of a sunny day’s output. Our estimates already include the monsoon dip, and net-metering credit from sunny months balances it out.
What happens during a power cut?
A standard on-grid system switches off for safety when the grid goes down. A hybrid system with a battery keeps your chosen circuits running automatically, and recharges from the sun the next morning.
How much roof space do I need?
About 13 m² (140 sq ft) for every 2.5 kW. A typical 5 kW home system needs roughly a quarter of an average Kathmandu rooftop, on raised frames so the space underneath stays usable.
How long does it last?
Panels are warranted for 25 years and keep producing well beyond that. Inverters and batteries carry 10-year warranties. Our maintenance plan includes cleaning and yearly health checks.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Our partner banks offer solar loans over 3 to 7 years, often with an EMI lower than the monthly saving. The calculator shows both side by side.
Do you handle net metering?
Yes. We prepare the drawings and documents, submit the application to your local distribution office and coordinate the bidirectional meter installation.
